Our modules, designed for seamless integration, span the gamut of payment management: processing varied payment types, leveraging automated analytics of customer behaviour, and offering integrative risk management.
**ABOUT THE TEAM**
Our compliance team at Unzer is the backbone that ensures the safety, integrity, and credibility of our operations. Entrusted with upholding stringent regulatory standards, the team is consistently abreast of global financial regulations, especially those governing PSPs. Their mission is to safeguard Unzer's reputation, ensure seamless international transactions, and foster trust among our clientele. A blend of risk-management expertise and technological prowess, the team is presently embarked on multiple projects aimed at further solidifying Unzer's compliance frameworks.
**WHAT WILL YOU DO**:
- You will oversee and manage the entire compliance framework, ensuring it meets the strict regulatory standards of Luxembourg and international standards relevant to PSPs.
- You will act as the primary point of contact between Unzer and regulatory bodies, addressing any queries, concerns, or requirements they may have.
- You will lead and mentor the compliance team, ensuring they are continuously updated with the latest in financial regulations and compliance practices.
- You will collaborate closely with other departments, ensuring a harmonious integration of compliance protocols in their operations.
- You will identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, and develop/implement corrective action plans for resolution.
**YOUR PROFILE**:
- Profound experience in the regulatory environment of Luxembourg, particularly concerning Payment Service Providers (PSPs).
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with proven experience leading compliance teams.
- Deep understanding and expertise in global financial regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with both internal teams and external regulatory bodies.
- Highly analytical mindset with the capability to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
**Nice to have**:
- Familiarity or previous experience working in a fast-paced fintech setup.
- Additional language skills, especially those predominant in major financial hubs.
- Experience with digital and crypto-currencies and their associated regulatory requirements.
