For immediate employment, we are looking for a
Senior Accountant for a Fixed Term Contract of 1 year (Maternity Leave Replacement)
who will join our dynamic and innovative Accounting Team.

WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the accounting activities of the IHQ, ensuring accurate and well-maintained accounting records.
• Ensure the accuracy of general ledger postings and perform timely reconciliations.
• Support the monthly Group reporting process.
• Prepare and review year end and interim financial statements in accordance with LuxGAAP, including the provision of supporting documentation to external auditors.
• Support the budget preparation process.
• Manage cash positions and assist with cash flow forecasting.
• Prepare VAT declarations and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Support STATEC reporting requirements.
• Liaise with third parties such as tax authorities, banks, and other external stakeholders.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, streamline workflows, and implement best practices.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 5 years of experience in corporate accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg accounting standards and tax principles.
• A high level of accuracy with strong attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent command of accounting software tools, with experience in SAGE, BOB50, or INFOR considered an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and internal stakeholders.
• A strong eagerness to learn, including a keen interest in artificial intelligence and, ideally, the ability to translate AI knowledge into practical implementation within the finance function.
• Fluency in German and English, with French considered an asset.
