For our Luxembourg offices, we are looking for a Portfolio Management Analyst (M/F/O).

Within the Insurance Area, the Portfolio Management Analyst will integrate the Portfolio Management Department and will hold a key role of pro-actively managing & monitoring of the technical profitability of the company.

Main Accountabilities
- Assist in portfolio analysis, identifying issues and defining technical recommendations (KPIs) and actions to steer GEB’s profitability.
- Help in the preparation of periodic dashboards that monitor, measure, and evaluate the achievement of KPIs.
- Support and provide regular updates to Portfolio Management Head on various activities that requires close coordination with other departments such as:

- Alignment of annual forecast & budget with profitability targets and implementation of corrective actions together with Finance Team.
- Implementation of Target Profitability Framework for renewal and new business with Underwriting Team.
- Setting up the design and definition of Collaborative Performance Review (CPR) process (i.e., defining selection criteria, deploying portfolio management strategies, and tracking of results.) with Underwriting Team.
- Assist in technical audits on the performance of the selected Network Partners.
- Provide ad hoc reports and other task related to portfolio management on need be basis.
- Liaise and coordinate with other key stakeholders to align on the business requirements for the Portfolio Management Team
- Manage ad hoc requests

Key attributes:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical team of insurance companies
- Master’s degree in insurance, Statistics, Actuarial, Economics and/or Finance related fields
- Technical mindset with experience in portfolio management and risk analysis/assessment
- Strong business acumen and understanding of strategic aspects of decision making
- Curious, dynamic, proactive, not afraid to take ownership
- Resilient with strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail
- Team player with high appetite for transversal collaboration
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of English, any other language would be considered a plus
