We are currently looking for an Upper School Film & Creative Media Teacher: if our values resonate with you, take a closer look at our ad
The Film and Media teacher will work closely with the Academic Leader of Group 6 to deliver the Film (IB) and Creative Media (Grades 9 & 10) curricula. This role also includes working as a member of the Middle School Design team (Grades 6-8) with special responsibility for the Media strand.

**Profile**: (training, experience, skills and aptitudes necessary to do the job)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
- Teaching qualification required;
- Recent successful experience teaching the IBDP Film course;
- Preferably, at least two years of teaching experience in an international school setting;
- Extensive knowledge of contemporary teaching and learning theories and practice in film and media education, including differentiation and inquiry;
- Knowledge of and experience in:
- media production including film, TV, radio, print media
- media equipment / hardware management and basic care
- A knowledge of media language, representation, industries and audiences;
- Technologically competent in digital tools (CS Adobe suite, Premier After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator In-design etc.) and able to integrate appropriate technologies into the curriculum;
- Evidence of a commitment to fostering learning beyond the classroom in the extra-curricular programme;
- Experience of working in a multi-cultural and collaborative environment;
- Fluency in English (near native level) with fluency in either French, Luxembourgish or German an advantage.
- Experience working with students and parents for whom English is a foreign language.
