Purpose

Responsible for the AML-CFT Financial Crime prevention compliance and related policies and procedures for GAM in Luxembourg in conjunction with colleagues in other jurisdictions and taking into account GAM group policy and applicable legislation and regulations.

Main Duties & Responsibilities- Carry out the AML assessment of any new product as part of the product approval- Carry out the AML assessment on delegates, working with GAM Outsourcing Controlling stakeholders- Carry out the AML assessment of marketing countries- Perform the Sanctions monitoring- Carry out the AML-CFT controls on assets- Carry out the AML & KYC on Private Clients- Ensure that AML/CTF related queries and respective related ad-hoc projects are dealt with and provide technical assistance to staff where required- Monitor timely updating and review of AML-CFT policies and procedures taking into account the AML- CFT Regulatory update- Prepare and ensure that all necessary internal and external AML reports and filings are completed correctly and in a timely manner, including CSSF filing, review of LFR, AML Questionnaire- Act as back-up for the Compliance Officer responsible for AML-CTF for the Funds under management by GAM in Luxembourg (“RC”)- Carry out the AML Training for new joiners, the annual AML training and its update, as and when necessary, based upon Luxembourg laws and regulations changes- Oversee regulatory compliance of our branches in Dublin and Germany

Qualifications & Experience- 5 + years’ experience in an AML role in the financial industry- Extensive knowledge of regulations etc. that govern the financial sector, with a specfic focus on AML regulations- Written and spoken German and English, any additional language is considered as an asset
