Senior Accountant – Fix-Term Contract, Leading Investment Firm

Our client is an international investment firm with over 50 employees in Luxembourg, working in four distinct divisions which are accounting, tax, corporate governance and compliance.

The company focuses primarily on non-regulated investment vehicles, in a wide range of investment strategies such as Private Equity, Real Estate and Private Debt. Thanks to this, a lot of internal learning opportunities are offered (including the chance to follow external trainings free of charge) and internal mobility and evolution prospects are endless.

Your Responsibilities | Fiduciary – Finance – Asset management Company

• You prepare and review annual accounts from start to finish across a portfolio of varied entities.
• You coordinate with internal departments, external auditors and tax specialists to ensure smooth reporting cycles.
• You manage day-to-day accounting operations such as transaction reviews and investment-related analyses.
• You work on a diversified selection of structures, including SOPARFIs, SCSPs, Holdings, GPs, SPVs, Private Equity and Real Estate vehicles.
• You oversee the full accounting process and ensure accuracy of financial data.

Profile and Career Path | Accounting – Accountancy – Tax

• A minimum of 8 years of accounting experience in Luxembourg, ideally within a financial service provider or asset management company.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken are essential for the role.
• A degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline is
• You have a proactive attitude, independence in your daily tasks and the ability to adapt quickly, which is why we are looking for a very experienced profile for this position that will adapt well into this fix-term role.
• Experience with Bob 50 considered an advantage.
