YOUR IMPACT
Under the responsibility of Corporate Finance & Investment Managers, the Analyst will:
- Support and Oversee the business units and companies within the perimeter of the Group (MSC Mediterranean
- Shipping Company and subsidiaries).
- Under the supervision of the senior team members, be involved in Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Planning,
- Management Reporting and overall coordination between several business units/companies.
- Improve performance of BU's by granting better visibility and collaborate with other parts of the Group.
- Support on a need basis on M&A activities.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Education in Finance or Management, Master degree.
- At least 2-3 years' experience in a rigorous financial or management consulting analyst role.
- Strong financial analysis expertise with 2-3 years' experience in a demanding environment (e.g. management consulting, investment bank/ M&A, transaction services, Big 4 valuation or modelling teams).
- Expert in Excel modelling; ability to develop and run financial models.
- Good understanding of accounting principles.
- Knowledge in company valuation techniques.
- Has gained exposure to international transactions, environment, and culture.
- Effective written and presentation skills.
- Excellent numeracy skills combined with an inquiring, analytical mind.
- Ability to work across a large organization.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work logically, consistently, and accurately.
- Ability to work under pressure and to handle several projects in parallel.
- Team spirit.
- Strong business ethics.Perfect command of both written and spoken English, a second language is a plus.
CONTRACT DETAILS
- Based in Luxemburg.
- Full Time.
- Permanent Role.
- Starting ASAP.
- The role will involve frequent travel to Geneva.
