The Mission
The IT Departement of this very important European Public Financial Institution carries out numerous projects to constantly improve and optimize the processes. The
xECM OpenText Project Manager
will lead the redesign and modernization of integration landscapes built on the Extended ECM platform. The role is critical in replacing heavily customized legacy integrations with standardized, scalable, and cloud-ready solutions enabling seamless interoperability between customer internal systems, O365 services, and external applications.

Job Description - Key Responsabilities
Under the direction of the IT Manager of the document management department:

  • Analyze, design, and implement integration solutions based on OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) platform capabilities.
  • Redesign and replace existing heavily customized code with standardized integration patterns.
  • Drive the transition from current REST API integrations via ESB (legacy) toward Azure API Management.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to assess integration requirements for on-premise and cloud-based systems.
  • Integrate xECM with O365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook) using Integration Services.
  • Ensure integration solutions are robust, scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
  • Provide technical expertise, documentation, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Profile
Your Qualifications:

  • You hold a University Degree (or related field) or equivalent experiences
  • 7+ years in IT consulting or system integration roles.
  • 3+ years working with OpenText xECM or similar ECM solutions.
  • Experience in a content management or document management environment
  • Hands-on experience with Extended ECM platform integrations, especially for applications without out-of-the-box connectors.
  • Strong knowledge of integration with Microsoft O365 (SharePoint Online, Teams, Outlook) including Integration Services.
  • Solid expertise in REST API development and API lifecycle management.
  • Experience with Azure API Management (preferred) or similar API management platforms.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns and system interoperability (on-prem + cloud).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Proven track record in integration projects (cloud & hybrid environments).
  • Experience with migration away from legacy ESB solutions.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure, OpenText xECM) are a plus.
