Responsibilities
The service provider will support the EC Business Service Owner across all project phases, including planning, design, implementation, and oversight, for the operation and daily activities of the Data Centres & Private Cloud Unit. The role requires proactive maintenance of existing systems, continuous monitoring, and performance tuning, with a high degree of autonomy.

Specific tasks may include:

• Provide expert technical assistance on Cryptographic services and solutions, including implementation of customer use cases that integrate with other services at application, platform, or infrastructure level, whether on-premises or with external Cloud providers. Responsibilities include technical guidance, troubleshooting, performance optimization, governance, and monitoring.
• Manage diverse projects related to the day-to-day operations of the Unit.
• Participate in formulation, planning, and definition of project requirements, liaising with stakeholders and internal customers, gathering requirements, and communicating results.
• Develop a deep understanding of internal business processes, oversee continuous improvement, and manage service reliability.
• Ensure quality of project documentation, meeting minutes, and other relevant deliverables.
• Participate in and coordinate project meetings and related activities.
• Supervise services delivered within the managed services portfolio.
• Ensure services delivered by DIGIT contractors comply with DIGIT and third-party processes and guidelines.
• Evaluate and implement security standards.

Mandatory Requirements

Education & Language:

• University degree corresponding to Level 7 of the European Qualifications Framework (typically master's level or 3 years of higher education).
• English: Spoken and written at least C1 (CEFR).

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years in Datacentre Infrastructure, OS management, Network, Storage, Virtualization, and IT security.
• Over 5 years experience delivering and supervising IT hosting services, with proven experience in rolling out infrastructures to support AI platforms at scale.
• Experience with Kubernetes technology and DevOps methodologies.
• Supervision of external Managed Services and Data Centre Capacity Management.
• Application of Agile methodologies for work organization.

Certifications:

• Certified in Thales products (e.g., Thales Cipher Trust Manager Professional, SafeNet Luna HSM7).
• ITIL Foundation Certified.
• Microsoft or Linux Certified Systems Engineer.
