About the RoleAs an Asset Management Team Manager, you will:
Oversee the organization and planning of a specialized asset management team.
Lead and support team members' development through feedback and performance tracking.
Ensure accurate financial reporting, including monthly and quarterly NAV calculations.
Manage quarterly reconciliations of asset portfolios in line with liabilities.
Collaborate with different departments on internal projects and strategic initiatives.
Participate in internal and external audits related to asset management activities.
Conduct annual risk and control reviews to improve processes.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
This is a leadership position requiring both technical expertise and people management skills to drive the success of the team.
What We're Looking For Education & Experience:
Master's degree (BAC +5) in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in asset management, ideally within the insurance or financial services sector.
Proven team management experience - you know how to coach, guide, and lead a high-performing team.
Strong understanding of financial instruments and valuation methodologies.
Previous experience in life insurance (especially in Luxembourg) is a huge plus.
Skills & Competencies:
Fluent in French & English (written and spoken) - additional languages are an asset.
Analytical & detail-oriented - you thrive in working with numbers and financial data.
Proactive problem solver - you take ownership and suggest improvements.
Excellent organizational skills - you keep track of projects, deadlines, and team performance.
