Account Manager
Lombard Odier (Europe) S.A. (LOESA) is headquartered in Luxembourg and operates through five branches (Paris, Brussels, London, Madrid, Milan). Within LOESA, the Account Management team plays a strategic role in oversight and coordination of our private clients needed.
- Life Insurance à Account Manager for Life Insurance (LI) Companies.
- Multi Entity à Lead contact for Private Bankers across the Lombard Odier Group who manage accounts opened in LOESA served in other offices.
- Execution Only Desk à Centralised team in charge to process client orders
This role requires strong ability to collaborate across teams, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering exceptional client service.
Safeguard client assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Oversee and support operational processes related to accounts under Account Management responsibility.
Maintain effective relationships with insurance companies, external clients and internal stakeholders
We are looking for an Account Manager capable of operating in a complex, international environment with a high level of rigor and organizational skills.
YOUR ROLE:
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the single point of contact for Insurance Companies and internal teams involved.
- Operate as the lead contact for Private Bankers across the Lombard Odier Group who manage accounts opened in LOESA served in other offices.
- Ensure exceptional client service through high standards and proactive engagement
- Optimize processes related to Account Management and strengthen client relationship practices
Account Opening & Operational Processes:
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements and policy.
- Conduct KYC checks and thorough due diligence throughout every stage of the client relationship to ensure full compliance with AML and regulatory requirements
- Manage all processes required for opening private client accounts and Life Insurance custody accounts.
- Handle operational tasks such as payments, fees, and changes in circumstances for Account Management and Life Insurance accounts.
- Ensure integrity and quality of operational data.
- Follow up and deliver requests from Life Insurance companies and Private Bankers, including reporting, statements, Ebanking solutions, SWIFT connections, valuations consistency.
- Manage execution-only clients (XO desk) across Europe, including identity verification, trade input, and execution confirmation.
- Act as interface with support functions (Client Lifecycle Management, Compliance, Tariff, Tax, Operations)
Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements
- Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence
- Adhere to, understand and promote an appropriate risk culture and sound risk management practice
- Own and proactively act on results of first, second- and third-line controls within the business area of responsibility
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor's degree or professional qualifications in Finance/Business desirable
- Working in international, matrix environments in roles with direct client interaction
- Knowledge on regulatory obligations in the banking industry
- Strong focus on client-centric service excellence
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in workload prioritization
- Excellent communication skills
- Confidence to build strong professional relationships with other teams within Lombard Odier
- Systems used: G2, CRM, MS Office, LA Retrieve
- English and French; Spanish, Italian or Dutch, would be a plus
