We are looking for a Senior PERE Fund Accountant to join our dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting, reporting, and financial analysis of Private Equity and Real Estate (PERE) investment structures.

This role requires an individual with strong accounting expertise, an analytical mindset, and the ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.

You will act as a key point of contact for clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of NAVs, financial reports, and audit materials.

The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization, particularly within Yardi Voyager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and review monthly and quarterly NAV calculations for assigned PERE funds.
  • Perform financial statement review and analysis under US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in line with internal controls and client agreements.
  • Coordinate and support external audits, including preparation of audit files and liaison with auditors.
  • Provide ad hoc accounting and financial expertise to internal teams and clients.
  • Review fund structures to ensure compliance with Limited Partnership accounting requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and Yardi support teams to improve process efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of best practices within the Fund Accounting function.
  • Support transaction-related activities, including capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting.
  • Participate in system and process enhancements, leveraging Yardi Voyager capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience within Real Estate or Private Equity funds.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
  • Proven experience with Efront/Yardi/Bob or similar fund accounting software.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work autonomously while being a collaborative team player. Nice-to-have:
  • Previous exposure to Transaction Management or Transfer Agency operations.
  • Background in audit or financial reporting within PERE funds.
