KPMG Luxembourg is looking for a Central Billing Manager to oversee and drive excellence in our billing operations. In this role, you will manage a team of billing officers and the Central Billing Supervisor, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant invoicing in line with internal policies and external regulations. You will play a key role in driving digitalization, supporting the firm's financial objectives, and leading strategic process improvements, including the successful implementation of a new billing tool.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of billing officers and the Central Billing Supervisor to ensure high performance and engagement.
• Allocate responsibilities across local and externalized team members to maintain optimal workload balance.
• Conduct performance reviews, assess training needs, and cultivate a culture of continuous learning and process improvement.

Billing Operations Management

• Oversee the end-to-end billing cycle, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient invoicing.
• Ensure adherence to contractual terms, internal policies, and relevant regulations.
• Resolve billing discrepancies, minimize financial risks, and enhance overall process integrity.
• Promote onboarding of client service teams to the centralized billing model and provide proactive support.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

• Monitor billing KPIs including billing cycle times, error rates, and outstanding invoices.
• Prepare and deliver performance reports to senior finance stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with revenue recognition and cash flow forecasting objectives.

Process Improvement & Digital Transformation

• Identify and implement billing process improvements and standardization opportunities.
• Maintain and enhance data quality within the PMS tool.
• Support the digitalization of billing operations and lead the rollout of a new integrated billing system in collaboration with Finance and Digital teams.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to automate and optimize billing workflows.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

• Act as a key point of contact for billing matters with internal teams, external service providers, and clients.
• Foster strong collaboration with finance leaders, client service teams, and management.
• Provide guidance and resolution to client billing inquiries and ensure a positive client experience.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

• In partnership with the Accounting Director, ensure full compliance with tax, VAT, and other financial regulations.
• Maintain and implement robust internal controls to reduce errors, mitigate risks, and prevent revenue leakage.
• As business owner of the PMS tool, lead risk-related process development and compliance implementation.

• Proven experience in billing operations, preferably in a professional services environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing cross-functional teams. At least 5 years of working experience in a management role is required.
• Deep understanding of billing systems, financial regulations, and digital transformation tools.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  Fluency in English; French or German is considered an asset.
