Our client is a leading European private banking and wealth management institution, managing over €200 billion in assets and present in more than 15 countries. The bank serves a sophisticated international clientele : high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and families,; offering comprehensive advisory, investment, and financing solutions across global markets.

Position Overview

As Director of International Wealth Management, you will lead and expand an international desk dedicated to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. Your mission will be to define and execute a business strategy that aligns with the group's risk appetite, drive growth and profitability, and promote the full suite of the bank's wealth management and investment services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and execute a commercial strategy for international markets under your scope.
  • Drive the achievement of key performance indicators including AUM growth, Net New Money (NNM), Return on Assets (RoA), and lending targets.
  • Lead client acquisition and retention for international HNWI/UHNWI segments through proactive business development and internal network referrals.
  • Promote the bank's full product offering — investment management, advisory, credit, financing, ESG solutions, and structured products.
  • Manage and coach the team to ensure high performance, compliance, and client satisfaction.
  • Supervise credit files, risk exposure, and ensure full compliance with MiFID II, AML/KYC, and cross-border regulations.
  • Coordinate with key internal and external stakeholders including compliance, legal, credit, and operations.
  • Guarantee accurate client documentation and CRM tracking of all interactions and activities.

Required Profile

  • Master's degree (Finance, Economics, Business, or related field).
  • 10–15 years' experience in private banking, wealth management, or family office, ideally within an international environment.
  • Proven success in business development and client relationship management with HNWI/UHNWI clientele.
  • Solid understanding of investment products, financial markets, credit structuring, and wealth planning.
  • Strong command of regulatory frameworks (AML, KYC, MiFID II, CSSF, cross-border compliance).
  • MiFID Advisory certification required.
  • Leadership and people-management skills with the ability to inspire and coach teams.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and results-driven approach.
  • Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a strong advantage.
