Studies & experience:

•    Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance / Coding

•    A previous experience in Asset management / Financial Markets would be appreciated

Language skills:

•    Fluent in English (B2-C1)

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

•    Proficient/Good command of MS Office

•    Good communication and presentation skills


The VIE assignment in a nutshell 

This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see


Among the first banks of the Luxembourg's place, Société Générale Luxembourg has set up an Asset Management subsidiary (100% owned), with more than 7 billions of euros under management. As a member of Société Générale Luxembourg's Management Company, Société Générale Private Wealth Management, you will be more specifically attached to the Bond Management team, which is made up of 3 managers specialized in this asset class.

Main responsibilities will include:

Assist bond managers on a daily basis\: updating management files, preparing, encoding and monitoring bond orders Develop market and product analysis tools in Excel and VBA Develop portfolio risk monitoring and reporting tools in Excel, VBA and SQL Assist managers in market monitoring\: new bond issues, credit events Help prepare management reports and investment proposals in Excel, VBA and Power Point Contribute to the preparation of tactical and strategic investment committees

Due to the VIE eligibility criteria a questionnaire will be provided. Please make sure to answer all the questions for an efficient analysis of your application.

Please note that for the missions outside the European countries, a VISA is necessary. Please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure. Otherwise, we strongly advise you to launch asap the renewal of your passport.
