Head of Transfer Agency

We are now looking to recruit an experienced Head of Transfer Agency to join our global team.

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
Leadership and Strategy:

- Develop and execute the strategic vision for the transfer agent operations in alignment with the company’s growth objectives.
- Grow a high-performing transfer agency team and educate across IDR teams.
- Implement best practices to ensure operational excellence and compliance.

Operational Management:

- Oversee all aspects of transfer agency services including issuance, transfer, and cancellation of securities.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions and maintenance of investor records.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and procedures to safeguard data integrity and compliance.

Client Services:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and support.
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Proactively address and resolve client inquiries and issues with a focus on exceptional service.

Regulatory Compliance:

- Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to compliance standards.

Technology and Innovation:

- Leverage technology to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of transfer agent operations.
- Collaborate with the technology team to develop and implement innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of the business and clients.
- Drive continuous improvement through the adoption of new tools and technologies.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Competence and expert experience in transfer agent operations, with a strong background in private markets.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
- In-depth knowledge of securities regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional client service skills with a track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using technology to streamline operations and improve service delivery
