Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Program

**Description**
In general terms, this will involve the continual centralization, globalization, and standardization of EHS processes to contribute to the embedding of continual improvement in our client’s operations. More specifically this will involve tactical operation in global processes embodied in the EHS Global Programs function, and the EHS management system, including:
- Understanding of EHS regulation and compliance,
- Liaison and align EHS Global Programs with specific function(s) workstreams (e.g. GPMO, SOS, Strategic Projects),
- Developing procedures and technical guidance documents to support program development,
- Document control and change management of program-specific documentation,
- Align with the continued development of overarching global EHS training and engagement strategies and projects
- Contribution and support towards regionally managed programs,
- Contribution towards management of documented EHS information
- Contribution towards change management in relation to global EHS management system
- Heavy involvement in required global EHS behavioral change initiatives
- Customer engagement

**_Skills / experience _**
- Strong program and project management, and administration, including coordination skills
- Executive-level communication and engagement ability, with good English technical writing ability
- Able to think strategically when building out initiatives, and make ‘think big’ decisions
- Have analytical skills and be detail oriented while seeing and understanding the larger picture
- Flexible approach to work, able to manage own priorities, workload
- Creating and executing workflows, documentation, and to communicate program ideas
- Ability to manage people, delegate, and maximize the abilities and outputs of a team
- Technologically adept, and able to learn new unfamiliar company systems
**_ Basic Qualifications_**
- Professional college degree in relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety
- 5+ years of experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects
- Flexible approach to work, able to manage own priorities, and workload
- Excellent communication and influencing skills - results orientated and tenacious
**_ Preferred Qualifications_**
- Advanced degree in a related field
- Proven track record of sound decision-making, taking ownership, and delivering results
- Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills necessary to build relationships and positively influence decision-making.
- Have or working towards CSP, CIH, NEBOSH, or CHMM certification.
- Lean, 5S, Behavioral Change, and Kaizen experience
