Are you passionate about ensuring the seamless operation of monitoring solutions in a dynamic 24x7 enterprise production environment?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to become an integral part of our monitoring team We are looking for a talented Monitoring Administrator who will play a crucial role in supporting planning, architecture, analysis, design, implementation, administration, and operations of our Monitoring solution.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Operate, administer, and integrate supervisory solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, MS SCOM, Nagios, and Icinga.
Collaborate with operation teams and developers to gather monitoring requirements.
Identify, analyze, and test enhancements or bug fixes to the current systems management infrastructure.
Provide administrative support for the configuration and proper operation of monitoring tools.
**Essential Skills & Technologies**:
Over 5 years of experience in similar roles.
Familiarity with the supervision (administration and implementation) of monitoring solutions.
Understanding of monitoring event management.
Proficiency in Linux/Unix, and Windows skills are a plus.
Programming/scripting skills (e.g., Python, Shell, PowerShell).
Experience with Nagios or Icinga.
Good understanding of network fundamentals.
ITIL certified or relevant experience/knowledge.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
**Desirable Skills**:
Ability to supervise and work on multiple activities with various projects and short deadlines.
Strong analytical, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Autonomous, energetic, and adaptable.
Team player.
**Nice to Have**:
Exposure to DevOps environments and Continuous Deployment.
Familiarity with vROPS.
