Excellent, long term contract opportunity for a CMDB/FLAM Administrator-Remedy-CMDB-Unix to support the planning, architecture, analysis, design, implementation, administration, and operations of CMDB/FLAM solution.

The Monitoring/CMDB/FLAM Administrator member operates, implements and maintains in a 24x7-enterprise production environment.

**The key accountabilities for this role are**:

- From a broad selection of monitoring tools, conceptualize, develop, and implement vendor or custom monitoring solutions to ensure system functions at peak performance.
- Identify, analyse, architect, and test enhancements or bug fixes to the current systems management infrastructure to meet changing requirements and increase productivity.
- Analyse processes to establish technical guidelines and standards for systems monitoring.
- Provide administrative support for configuration and proper operation of monitoring tools used by Operational teams.

**Daily tasks**:

- Operation, administration and integration of technologies in the CMDB and web services on CMDB Front End (FLAM)
- Administration of CMDB platform
- Ensure availability of monitoring solution (monitoring, alerting) in 24/7 mode (oncall)
- Ensure availability of CMDB solution in 24/7 mode (oncall)
- Handle daily operation activities (requests, changes and incidents)
- Follow the day to day activity of the team
- Organize the activity of the team
- Manage weekly meetings with SDMs
- Ensure that requests and incidents are resolved within agreed KPI

**Incident management**:

- Respond to technical support tickets for CMDB/FLAM features and configuration
- Help service owners translate business needs into monitoring, CMDB/FLAM solution
- Configure CMDB solution
- Deploy in production & administrate Monitoring, CMDB tools on the existing perimeter
- Maintain documentation (how-to, normalization, installation)

Participation in project, customer and technical team training:

- Participate in CMDB technical projects
- If necessary, assist/support service owner to develop their internal process to ensure detection of error and proactive.

**Essential Skills & Technologies**:

- At least 6 years of professional experience for Senior CMDB Remedy Administrator
- BMC CMDB (at least version 19 or +)
- BMC ARS Remedy (at least version 19 or +)
- Knowledge of ServiceNow is a plus
- Databases:Oracle,MySQL
- System: Linux/UNIX
- Languages: Shell (like ksh, bash), Python and other languages is a plus
- Web services: RESTFul, SOAP
- Ticketing Tools: SMT HP Service Manager
- ITIL certified or relevant experience/knowledge
- English fluently spoken and written
