Cs - Senior Officer

**_What’s the role?_**

This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of our team and to participate in the growth of the Reporting function. The role reports to the Manager in charge of reporting activities in the Reporting team.

**_ _**_What you’ll be doing_**
- Contribute to the preparation and the revision of the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually reporting to different financial regulators and central banks
- Responsible for timely and accurate regulatory reporting (AIFMD ANNEX IV, ADV and FormPF, U1.1, TPTOBS, TPTIBS, S2.13, S2.16, K3, O4)
- Support the team with all the regulatory filings in scope and ensure delivery at the highest level of quality
- Assist with timely collection and submission of the Tax documents to the US Tax Advisors
- Collaborate with the internal teams and auditors to obtain Approved Annual Accounts in accordance with the statutory timelines
- Support all filings production and oversee the submission of the Approved Annual Accounts with the Banque Centrale de Luxembourg (BCL) and Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier(CSSF)
- Coordinate with the relevant departments and auditors to ensure timely filing of annual financial statements with the RCS (Registre de Commerces et des Sociétés)
- Ensure timely registration of the Non-Regulated Investment Funds with the BCL (Banque Centrale de Luxembourg)
- Support the ongoing design of the shared services functions and complete transition of in
- scope tasks from the operational teams to the Regulatory Reporting team
- Continually review, challenge & enrich the control environment for improved quality and efficiency in delivering both in-scope tasks and KPI’s
- Understand respective client specifics and variances
- Support both teams’ management in analyzing and defining future technology needs
- Assist the AIFM with the production of required KPI reporting for their AIF in compliance with deadline
- Develop key management information monthly reporting including KPIs and last trends on significant direct targets to the attention of the deal team

- hoc projects on reporting, contributing to the continuous improvement of the internal procedures and take the lead in running calls with internal IT, clients and external vendors
- Deliver trainings to field staff on data processing and on reporting and analysis skills
- Take full ownership of the assigned responsibilities and work very closely with the team
- Accountable for team development, including resource and workload assessment, recruitment, goal setting and performance management
- Drive and lead continuous improvement in effectiveness of existing processes and control framework.
- Periodically review and update internal procedures, workflows and Gen II -AIFM Master SLA’s

**_The ideal background for this role:_**
- Fluent in English or French (working knowledge of English is mandatory), any other language is considered as an asset;
- Good understanding of the reporting challenges faced by PERE players. Experience in a similar position preferably in Luxembourg within a service provider or a domiciliation company for PERE assets is a strong asset.
- You have a good understanding of the Investments Funds and good comprehension of the regulatory requirements
- Good knowledge of Luxembourg corporate laws and structures, any specific PERE sector knowledge (e.g. SOPARFI, SICAR, SIF, RAIF, SLP) is considered an asset
- Good knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP, IFRS and other relevant accounting standards preferably gained within the real estate or private equity sector, an asset

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Finance, Accounting or equivalent degrees
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including contributing to and being part of a strong team spirit
- Result-orientated with a sense of responsibility and commitment to delivering quality work
- Ability to work autonomously, taking full ownership of assigned responsibilities
- Excellent organizational skills complemented by a “can do” attitude
- Fluent in English (verbal and written communication), any other language is considered an asset
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Phyton any knowledge of eFront, Intact would be an advantage
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in data management and/or regulatory reporting
- Prior familiarity with CSSF, BCL, and AIFMD reporting an asset

**_Role Location/Hybrid Schedule_**

This role is based in our Luxembourg office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working. The different ways in which Agile Working can be undertaken is dependent on the demands and needs of the business, the office space available and the individual’s preferences and circumstances.
