SMBC Nikko Investment Fund Management Company is looking for a:
**Product Management Agent (M/F)**:
**Main purpose**:
Provide high quality services to Japanese speaking clients such as fund distributors, investment managers or lawyers. Provide supports for the proper documentation and timely filing. Provide supports to monitor delegations. Accounting-related tasks.

**Areas of result & main activities**:

- Japan Desk function for the entity
- As a Japanese desk of the company, communicate with the headquarters in Japan and internal or external counterparties (e.g. in the case of the launch of a new fund, for ad hoc questions on existing funds, define the context for the yearly due-diligence of fund distributors, )
- Translate from English to Japanese or vice versa fund related documents and inquiries to/from counterparties upon request (e.g. translate due-diligence reports for funds into English, etc.)
- Product Management
- Provide supports to review all Japanese periodical filing documents
- Support the process of fund documents creation, update and amendment by reviewing all Japanese documents according to instructions given by the Head of the Product Management
- Support reviewing and preparing other legal documents (resolutions, notifications, agreements ) in connection with fund's activities, if necessary
- Review drafts of annual and semi-annual reports of funds
- Schedule management of collecting and providing investment management commentaries for Japanese annual reports
- Scan and save on the internal network all hard copies of documents related to funds and file them in binders for the internal archive
- Manage funds' invoices (check and payment instruction)
- Communicate related parties to obtain necessary information and confirmation
- Distributor / Investment Manager control
- Send out, collect and analyze the due-diligence questionnaires and various monitoring data of distributors and investment managers and make necessary follow-ups under the control of Head of Product Management.
- Support accounting related tasks
- Manage SNIF's invoices (record, payment instruction and reconciliation)
- Support VAT return process
- General support to Conducting Officers
- Support Conducting Officers in their business activities on an ancillary basis

**Technical Competencies**
- A first experience in a similar environment
- Good translation skills (Japanese and English)
- Good knowledge of Excel and Word
- Customer and goal oriented person with strong communication skills
- Sense of priority
