Our client is seeking a Claims Auditor to join an innovative and international team based in Luxembourg. As part of an exciting new project in embedded insurance, you will play a key role in driving the launch of a European business branch and be part of a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. Tasks
- Coordinate claims processes with partners.
- Conduct onboarding, due diligence, and audits with third-party administrators (TPAs) or claims departments of partners.
- Oversee claim management, ensuring compliance with best practices across all phases of claims handling, including coverage, investigation, compensability, evaluation, recovery, and resolution.
- Collaborate with partners, pricing, and reporting actuaries to analyze claims data, detect trends, and evaluate product adjustments.
- Actively contribute to process optimization and streamlining efforts.
- Participate in the evaluation of reserves guidelines and validate claims payments when necessary.
- Provide monthly KPIs in collaboration with actuaries and assist with dashboard preparation.
**Requirements**:
- Prior experience in a similar role (several years).
- Solid understanding of insurance policies, coverage provisions, and claims processes.
- Strong communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Fluent in English (German is a plus). Additional languages are an advantage.
- Experience with various types of insurance (e.g., property, casualty, motor, liability).
- Analytical abilities to assess claims data and trends, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Customer orientation, critical thinking, proactivity, and agility in a complex environment.
- Occasional business trips to Luxembourg if working on a freelance basis.
- Bachelor's degree and more than 2 years of experience in claims auditing.
