A wonderful opportunity has arisen to join a huge digital transformation with our leading client based in the Benelux.
You must be a EU27 national, and reside in Europe. Mostly full remote, with occasional travel to the client site for important meetings and brainstorms.
We're seeking a freelancer looking for a long-term mission, and who feels comfortable in consulting customers and leading large digital transformation architecture initiatives. You will make an immediate Impact to a LARGE complex change initiative that involves redesigning a legacy on-prem custom Services to the AWS cloud.
(In parallel, you will take ownership in redesign of existing AWS services.)_
**Your role will include**:
Lead in the architecture, design, evaluation, testing, and prototyping of the cloud-native services, providing proactive guidance, and mentoring of technical teams.
Support establishing engineering standards and the creation and capturing of implementation patterns across the teams.
Assist in the development of engineering standards and their implementation across different teams.
Collaborate closely with the Lead architects and product or service owners responsible for developing and maintaining the Service portfolio roadmap and backlog.
