Our client is the world's largest commercial real estate services firm. They provide fully integrated, tailor-made asset and property services based on our local expertise and global network. Therefore, they advise property owners, investors and occupiers on every aspect of their property strategy and assist them in developing, buying, selling, financing, leasing, valuing and managing their assets.
**As a Property Accountant; your main responsibilities will be**:
Support the Property Managers in financial and administrative matters
Implementation of financial management procedures and controls
Implementing and using an IT data management system (Property V4, Yardi, etc.)
Updating the database in the IT data management system (rental contracts, etc.)
Keeping the accounts (booking invoices AP/AR), VAT declaration, invoicing, etc.
Booking of bank statements and credit control
Drawing up financial and administrative reports (internal and external)
Invoicing of rents, common charges and taxes
Settlement of common charges and taxes
Preparation of payments
**Profile**:
**Higher economic / financial education**: Bachelor Accounting, Bookkeeping,...
Several years of work experience in an accounting function is a plus
Thorough knowledge of accounting rules (balance sheet, profit and loss account, VAT,...)
Experience with the software Property V4 or Yardi is an advantage
IT minded (implementation and use of management software)
You are fluent in either French and you have a good level of verbal and written communication skills in English
You are proactive, result-driven and you work efficiently
You are organized and can focus on details
You meet your responsibilities and commitments
You communicate easily at all levels
