BIL Manage Invest (BMI) is a market-leading independent management company domiciled in Luxembourg, providing a one-stop regulatory solution for global investment managers. Staffed by highly experienced portfolio and risk managers, BMI is best positioned to provide premium 3rd party AIFM services for the financial, real estate, infrastructure and private equity asset classes.
**Responsibilities**:
**Main Activities and Deliverables**:
- _Assure the necessary support for the daily management of the funds_ for which BMI is Appointed Portfolio Manager (Initial and On-going Due Diligence, Investments, Divestments, Portfolio analysis and monitoring, performance review, relationship with the Investment Advisor, Investment Committee participation, etc.)
- Reporting_:
- Assist to Portfolio Management reporting for the Funds’ Board of Directors and BMI Executive Committee.
- Prepare ad-hoc reporting for specific clients (monthly factsheet) and support in the proprietary database maintenance for the Alternative Assets
- Data collection and Database feeding, internal reporting, and Executive Committee, BMI and clients’ Boards presentation support
- On-going supervision of the Investment Advisor/Portfolio Management of the funds:_
- Assist the PM team in the supervision activity through Initial and On-going Due Diligence, performance review to evaluate the quality of the Portfolio Managers/Investment Advisors and existing investments. (trade activity, investment, divestment, post-trade analyses, best execution analysis, data gathering for portfolio analysis, etc.).
Must Have Requirements
**Your Profile**:
- Education : enrolled in a master’s degree in Finance from a Business School, ideally with a specialization in Corporate, Finance, Financial Markets or Alternative Assets (Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Debt, etc.)
- Experience: Ideally, you have a first experience in Financial Institution, or Asset management.
**Technical Skills**:
- Basic knowledge of broad financial instruments and alternative asset classes.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.).
- Enrollment in the CFA program would be an advantage.
- Firsthand experience of Financial software like Morningstar, Thomson Reuters or Bloomberg would be a plus.
- Knowledge of Power BI, VBA or SQL would be an advantage.
**Languages**:
- Fluent in English and a conversational level in French. Any other language will be a plus.
**Personal Skills**:
- Highly motivated and naturally curious with figures and details
- Committed and eager to learn in a multicultural team.
- Ready to work in a dynamic and fast paced entrepreneurial environment
- Internship starting from September for a duration of 6 months.
