Junior Risk Manager

**Main tasks**
Risk monitoring of both traditional (equities, fixed income, absolute return) and alternative (private equity, private debt, infrastructure) portfolios
Maintenance of the risk systems (position keeping, performance monitoring, ex-ante risk, liquidity, etc.) for traditional and alternative funds (including recording of capital call, distribution, valuation of target funds, analysis of direct alternative investments, cash-flow monitoring)
Preparation of periodic and ad-hoc reports for the company management and externally (including regulatory reporting to authorities and reports to investors, executive reports)
Monitoring of investment compliance limits on the portfolios, with analysis of active and passive breaches, relationship with portfolio managers and monitoring of corrective actions
Periodic monitoring of market indexes, events and the impact of market movements on the portfolios
Monitoring and reporting on the ESG profile of the portfolios
The profile must know the main risk indicators of traditional strategies (leverage, Value-at-Risk, liquidity risk, counterparty risk, etc.) and of alternatives and attitudes to meet deadlines, interact with management and portfolio managers, and effectively collect and present risk-related information.
**Work experience and educational background requirements**
A bachelor’s degree in economics, finance is highly regarded
Relevant work experience in the asset management industry 1-2 years (ManCo, custodian banks, portfolio managers, advisors, auditors)
**Personal attitudes**
Problem-solving oriented good presentation skills
Attention to detail
Advanced knowledge in the use of Excel and Bloomberg
Team-oriented approach
Fluent English language (must have)
Knowledge of the French language (optional)
Knowledge of the Italian language (appreciated).
