We are hiring for a flourishing payment institution in **Luxembourg **which is looking for a **Compliance Professional** to join their team

**As a Compliance Professional, you will be responsible for**:

- Provide the AM/MLRO with regular and pertinent reports on compliance function oversight and management.
- Develop and maintain an effective AML/CTF framework by creating and implementing standardized policies and procedures.
- Serve as the primary contact for all AML/KYC team or compliance member escalation issues.
- Perform KYC document reviews during onboarding and continuous due diligence.
- Aid in the investigation and reporting of suspicious transactions and activities.
- Contribute to enhancing organisational processes.
- Assist the Authorized Management with any ad-hoc requests or issues.
- Organize and lead multiple staff training session

**To be successful in this role as a Compliance Professional, you should have**:

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law and/or Finance.
- Previous authorization by the CSSF as a Compliance Officer would be advantageous.
- Completed M1 and M2 in Compliance from Luxembourg House of Training (M3, CFE or CAMS is a plus).
- Relevant Compliance experience or a proven career in AML/Compliance with an extensive knowledge of related regulatory requirements, particularly in Luxembourg and the EU.
- Experience in Financial Technology.
- Possess a strong understanding of the banking and payment sector.
- Expert knowledge of European and Luxembourg legislation.
- Fluent in English and either French or German.
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment in Luxembourg and key regulatory regimes, including an understanding of FATCA and CRS requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- A team-oriented mindset and effective organizational abilities, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
