**Accounting Team Leader**
Our client, a leading bank in Luxembourg, are seeking an experienced Accounting Team Leader to manage an established accounting team and oversee key financial reporting functions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage and support a team of experienced accountants, responsible for direct line management, support, and development.
- Oversee month-end processes and ensure compliance with LUXGAAP and IFRS standards.
- Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of monthly management reports and group reporting.
- Manage internal and external audit requirements related to Finance.
- Drive process improvements to enhance data quality and streamline system interfaces.
- Assist in budget preparation and ongoing financial monitoring.
- Support senior leadership with ad hoc financial requests and strategic initiatives.
**Your Profile**
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent.
- Strong expertise in IFRS, LUXGAAP, and financial regulations, ideally in a banking environment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and other financial tools.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
