Account Opening Officer

Apex is currently looking for an Account Opening Officer in Luxembourg to support our Onboarding and Account Management department within the European Depositary Bank.
This full-time role comes with a favourable salary and benefits package.
As an Account Opening Officer, you will manage and review AML/KYC documentation relevant to opening bank accounts for Apex clients.
In your first few weeks in this Account Opening Officer role, you can expect to:
- Act as first reviewer at a local level to provide to the department in Luxembourg clean files to be approved for the opening of client accounts
- Adhere to regulatory requirements regarding AMLKYC, CRS and FATCA/QI
- Communicate with the Luxembourg team, other EDB departments and clients to resolve AML KYC and other regulatory issues related to clients’ accounts
- Manage master data related to accounts to be approved by the department in Luxembourg.
- 1-2 years of experience in the banking sector
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving attitude.
