Principal Client Service Manager

Corporate Bank - Trust and Agency Services provides trust, agency, administration, and processing services to borrowers of bank debt and issuers of debt and equity in the international capital markets.
**Key duties will include**:
**General**
- Management of a ‘front office’ agency portfolio of Syndicated Loans transactions for various loan sectors (Leveraged, Emerging Markets, Structured Credit, Investment Grade, Workouts, Project Finance, etc.)
- Part of a dedicated team of ten
**Tasks**
- Reviewing agency and related documentation for new deals, restructurings, waivers and amendments, and ongoing transactional matters in line with standard Loan Market Association (LMA) templates
- Negotiating the terms of such documentation (from the Agent’s perspective) with borrowers, lawyers, arrangers, loan operations and other involved parties
- Servicing a portfolio of Syndicated Loans transactions (ranging from small ‘club’ deals to large leveraged facilities across industries and sectors)
- Data room maintenance (Debtdomain)
- Ongoing security maintenance
- Monitor financial and compliance requirements
- Monitor margin adjustments
- Waiver and amendment requests
- Take action on defaulted loans (accelerate / workout, standstill agreements, scheme of arrangement, enforcement and liquidation)
**DB Franchise and Relationship**
- Maintaining relationships with key clients - internal and external
- Daily liaison with all transaction parties, including borrowers, lawyers, syndicate banks, trustees, loan operations, and other interested parties
- Deep knowledge and experience in loan documentation review and negotiation. Familiar with LMA documentation standards. Minimum of 5 years in the industry.
- Supporting on projects for Trust & Agency Services
- Building, monitoring and reporting of MIS information for senior management
- PC literate with good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, Debtdomain
- Self motivated, proactive, and possessed of an ability to use own initiative
- An excellent team player, capable of sharing information freely, and assisting others as required. Training of young talents on the job.
- Possesses a demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships, and has the credibility and confidence to liaise effectively at senior levels
- Has a good understanding of market practice and procedures relating to Syndicated Loans agency work
- Strong communication skills. Capable to run challenging conversations and articulate DB’s position. Fluent in English and German.
