Supervisor Aog Desk

TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide worldwide AOG (Aircraft On Ground) support to the Cargolux fleet.
- Coordinate and organize material support for Cargolux and customer aircraft.
- Guide and supervise the AOG team.
- Review & approve critical Material Requisitions, Purchase / Loan / Exchange orders as per procedures.
- Control material pooling operation for Cargolux and customer aircraft
- The position holder acts as a team leader, a decision maker and coordinator in the int.erest of the company and in the best continuation of our operations.
- Assist in developing and implementing planning procedures to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Ensure that accurate material-related data is entered in the relevant Cargolux systems.
- Assist the Manager Material Services in the daily operations.
- Initiate activities and actions in managing administration procedures within the Department.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- At least a general school leaving certificate of secondary education or equivalent (e.g. A-Level, BAC, Abitur).
- At least 5 years of working experience in a similar position.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Methodical and organized.
- Good knowledge of standard IT products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
- Fluency in English, written & spoken. Any additional language will be an asset (e.g. French, German).
- Problem solving abilities and positive attitude.
- Good team spirit.
- Good communication and team leading skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Full-time permanent position based in our Maintenance Center in Luxembourg. Occasional travel may be required.
- The position demands a regular and full-time presence. Vacation and other absences should be planned in a way that they do not conflict with service requirements.
- Flexibility is expected with regards to working hours in accordance with our collective work agreement.
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
