**THE COMPANY**:
Our client is a global investment manager within excess of $400 billion AUM. With over 1000 employees globally they are rapidly expanding their Luxembourg office. They are looking for a Compliance Officer to join their established team and be given a career development plan from day one.
**THE RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Develop programs and monitor to allow the continued legal and regulatory compliance of the branch
- Keep up to date on any regulations and laws which govern the activities of the company.
- Keep on top of new CSSF thematic reviews, guidance to the industry
- Monitor AML/CFT on an ongoing basis
- Monitor the management of new entrants by supervisors within the firm
- Fight against anti-money laundering and the financing of terrorism, as well as the rules of conduct of the financial sector and investor protection rules.
- Support the Chief Compliance Officer and any other senior figure in any other matters required to meet compliance standards
**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:
- 2 - 5 years Compliance/AML Experience
- Experience in an Investment Management/ Asset Management firm.
- Sound knowledge of the Luxemburg legal and regulatory environment of investment funds (UCITS/AIFs).
- Sound knowledge of AML/CFT regulations.
