**Job Description**:
Our client, a leading Alternative investment company, is looking to hire a Corporate Services Director to lead a small team, focusing on private equity investments.
You will report to a Regional Head and be a board member, ensuring compliance and governance from financial and operational perspective of the alternative investment structures.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage and oversee finance, legal and operational administration for the company’s entities/structures in Luxembourg (including holding companies, SPVs) ensuring correct compliance
- Provide leadership with regards to various transactions, understanding of structures from financial, legal and tax perspective
- Act as a Director and board member, attend board and shareholder meetings, ensure appropriate agendas and effective governance around meetings (e.g. minutes, approvals, signatures etc.)
- Build strong relationships and work with various internal and external stakeholders including tax advisors, lawyers, and audit, deal & finance teams.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls over reporting and operational requirements, ensuring any updates to governance is in line with regulatory framework and company policy
- Director/Board experience. Qualified Accounting/Legal background & AIFM experience advantageous
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg Regulatory environment with proven experience in Private Equity investments and related administration
- Understanding from financial, legal and tax perspective around Private Equity structures (including holding companies, SPVs and Funds)
- Ability to build strong relationships, with excellent communications
- Solution orientated and proactive in dealing with complex problems
- Speak fluent English, with another European language considered a plus
