Our Marketing department in Luxembourg is currently looking for an **Events and Marketing Officer** for one year fixed-term contract** (Possibility of permanent contract thereafter)**.

**Department purpose**
Our Luxembourg Business Development, Marketing and Communications (BD & MarCom) team contributes to the setting and achievement of the Luxembourg office’s overall strategy and business objectives, supporting lawyers in developing their business. This includes building and maintaining client relationships, winning new clients, focusing on key client sector groups, increasing the visibility of the firm on the Luxembourg market and across borders, and positioning the firm as the leading and most advanced law firm on the market. Thanks to the international nature of the work of our Luxembourg office, our team collaborates on a daily basis with the members of A&O’s international network of business development and marketing professionals, providing support across offices, practice groups, sectors and clients.

**Role purpose**

Main responsibilities will include:
Events:

- Organise client events, seminars and conferences (including VIP events)
- Coordinate third party events where we do sponsorships (i.e. with local industry associations), co-organising events(including roadshows and economic missions)
- Organise events for our France-Luxembourg and Germany-Luxembourg initiatives
- Develop (new) ideas for events - propose innovative concepts and venues, maintain the list of our VIP events offering as well as events agenda
- Continue to enhance clients experience via creative ideas, outstanding quality and seamless organisation
- Regularly communicate the event schedule (internal and external) to the lawyers and within network if required
- Coordination with PAs, BD, Creative Services, PR and practice / sector groups relation to A&O events
- Looking for new and innovative advertising items for client events

Digital Marketing:

- Actively manage A&O community on Social Media (LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instragram) in compliance with global guidelines and procedures. This should include preparation of posts, monitoring of posts of others, and communication around SM post being made. It is to be noted that Luxembourg office is one of the best-engaged A&O communities on Social Media.
- Put together Social Media communication plans and/or campaigns using our SM accounts and in coordination with our traditional media approach (PR)
- Develop ideas for advanced content marketing and comms in social media (i.e. use of interactive features, direct messaging to our community etc.)
- Continue building an army of social media ambassadors by giving trainings, inflight coaching and internal promotion campaigns
- Help lawyers and other departments to draft their communications in social media
- Look for new ideas in digital marketing and to enhance our visibility
- Manage e-alerts, updating the corporate website (content-wise, i.e. CV) and other communication
- Use internal communication tools to raise the local profile globally of what is being done in Luxembourg (internal news, intranet etc.)
- Creation of videos and advanced (original) presentations if required

Administrative:

- Communicate properly within our team and other teams
- Coordination with suppliers and the Creative Services Team
- Follow up on Sponsoring and Membership request
