The subcategory Industrial Environmental Services and Solutions oversees purchasing in project mode long term contract for Water Cooling Circuits of production tools, Industrial water production, Wastewater management, Sludge and Dust handling. As well as Real Estate services such as Diagnostic, Demolition, Deconstruction (Dismantling), Depollution of nonoperational assets.
**About the role**
- Actively participate in the strategic procurement activities for Water Cycle and Secondary Raw Material (Sludge, Dust) scope within ESS subcategory.
- Work closely with users at the Mill to ensure effective strategic procurement deployment.
- Achieve effective procurement and business continuity by cooperation with users across the sites as well as the global buying support team.
- Work closely with Lead Buyers to conduct research on supply markets, price benchmarks, and supplier profiles Key Responsibilities, Development of new suppliers
- Develop and maintain supplier profiles: Manage Supplier relationship and monitor contract compliance.
- Execute supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting for the Mills.
- Deliver savings and subcategory KPI targets and assist Lead Buyer with necessary analyses:
- Spend data analysis and basic financial analyses;
- Performance reporting;Participate in transversal working groups and projects.
**We are looking for a person**
- with an engineering degree (chemical, environmental, or mechanical) or scientific education level (min bac+5 years)
- with an entrepreneurial mindset
- with a commercial experience and/or willing to train to acquire the necessary know how in procurement.
- with a strong personality/leadership and communication skills
- who is socially engaged, makes easily contact with colleagues in an international context and who can develop a network within the organisation
- with project management abilities
- who can discuss technical topics with users and to technically evaluate different suppliers
- who has an appetite for finding information on innovative solutions and for market analysis.
- Who is Result and Customer oriented, can work under deadline pressure and manage the change
- Fluent in English and preferably in French
- additional European languages will be appreciated
