Group Manager, Depositary Due Diligence

The Group Manager, Depositary Due Diligence team is accountable to lead and manage the activity surrounding the preparation, completion and follow up of all due diligences to be performed on management companies, AIFMs and third parties.
**Duties**
- Align people on outcomes and give space to do the work
- Engineer opportunities for people to grow and stretch
- Set ambitious goals with clear outcomes
- Focus people on what matters the most
- Risk Based Approach implementation
- Change agent enabler
- Accountable for building strong client relationships and delivering client service excellence
- Interact with Clients, service providers, counterparties and Auditors to build and maintain strong relationships
- Support the implementation of new business or products
- Follow, and enhance the procedures and controls designed to ensure activity is performed according to regulatory requirements
- Pro-active participation in team meetings and providing training to other team members
- Identify and implement Client specific value added controls
- Work with colleagues, including those within the outsourcing model, to ensure timely and accurate completion of reporting
- Assist and contribute whenever required to all other depositary tasks allocated to him/her
**Qualifications**
- 10 years of experience in the Fund Industry is required with minimum 5 years in a depositary management role.
- Strong knowledge of the UCITS and AIFM laws and regulations, CSSF circulars 18/697 - 16/644 - CDR 231/2013 - CDR 2018/1618 & 1619
- Excellent knowledge in Real Estate and Private Equity
- Perfect command of English.
- Strong analytical, communication and organization skills (both verbal and written)
- Agile, adapt quickly - Rigorous - Well organized - Capacity to work under pressure
