Depositary Services

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Depository team. As our new Depository Manager, you will gain exposure to all areas of the funds’ industry including regulatory, legal, compliance, accounting, transfer agency services, custody, collateral management, and risk management.

You you will manage the overall depositary client relationship for a portfolio of AIFMD clients across multiple fund structures and asset types. In addition, you will represent J.P. Morgan at quarterly fund board meetings, due diligences, sales pitches, service meetings and industry events. You shall act as a highly-skilled depositary specialist operating in a culture of high performance and mastering the AIFM (and UCITS) regulatory framework.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be responsible for the management of depositary client relationships
- Partner with all stakeholders to ensure fiduciary responsibilities are satisfactorily discharged
- Manage regular client meetings, presentations and attendance at board meetings and due diligences, ensuring client relationships are managed to a professional standard
- Perform depositary duties in line with the applicable operating model and regulatory framework (Recordkeeping and Ownership Verification, Valuation Oversight, etc)
- Proactively manage client issues ensuring timely closure of breaches, errors and other significant matters affecting the funds
- Develop and sustain high quality working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Partner with Sales and Business Development teams for new depositary business deals and implement depositary oversight programmes
- Get involved in Project Management for depositary initiatives

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Depositary Services
- Good knowledge of AIFMD regulatory framework
- Proficient communication/client management skills (English)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to exercise professional judgement
- Ability to collect, process and analyse data and information to develop recommendations or conclusions at a level appropriate to the role.
- Organized and structured approach to work to ensure timely closure of issues
- Ability to provide high quality and accurate level of services within set deadlines
- Ability to participate in change, initiatives and projects
- Build strong relationships with colleagues and third parties
