**Summary**:
Our client is growing its Private Equity team following the onboarding of new funds. They are looking for a new joiners at management level. You will have the opportunity to grow and be promoted within the company.
The Head of Private Equity is keen to hire people with entrepreneurial spirit, people who will help him continuing building-up a strong team of excellent professionals, but also people bringing ideas, to continuously improve their processes/procedures/ways of working. He is looking for people who enjoy people management.
The company is privately owned and looking at long-term vision of investments.
They are working on all types of Private Equity funds, at international level. All transactions are going through Luxembourg. You will be involved in the full scope of transactions activities, in the full cycle accounting, and be responsible for accounting and analysis.
This is a great opportunity for a Manager within a Big 4, looking to step-up and to gain more responsibilities.
Some of the duties include:
- Controlling and overseeing all financial aspects of funds;
- Maintain and control the general ledger and various sub-ledgers, prepare financial statements, footnotes and partner capital statements;
- Act as point of contact for your clients (1-3 depending on the size of the funds);
- Help the team on the most complex tasks;
- Manage, motivate, and coach the team;
- Support the Directors and participate in the decision-making process;
- Liaise with internal/external counterparties, as well as with property management companies.
**Key requirements**:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting, finance (within a Big4, Asset Management company, or a Service Provider);
- Fluent in English;
- Experience working with Private Equity funds;
- ACCA qualified or equivalent (OEC, CA, etc ) is a plus;
- Experience in managing / supervising a team.
