Category Manager Property Services

**Role Purpose**:
As a Category Manager for Property Services, you will be part of the Property Management Services team and focusing on Retail shops related categories including Civil Works (shopfitting), Furniture, Security products and others. You will also support the Property Team with other projects as required. You will be partnering with the business in help defining and executing the procurement and supplier strategies.

**You will**:

- Be part of a category with a key role within Vodafone Group’s footprint, currently managing a significant portion of spend.
- Drive Vodafone’s new Retail strategy, lead transformation journey of retail our stores supporting execution of the strategy in multiple countries
- Manage and execute Retail category strategy which includes civil works, bespoke furniture, product security systems, digital signages, uniforms and stationery products
- Evaluate and negotiate complex pricing models and contracts, ensure the delivery of savings and other benefits to the business
- Build and maintain a very strong partnership with Vodafone’s stakeholders at Group and local market level and ensure continuous alignment with the category strategy.
- Lead and coordinate high visibility projects with global reach and business impact across the whole Vodafone organization
- Input into reporting against targets as defined by overall SCM goals and objectives
- Optimise supplier performance through strong commercial management, ensuring business value is delivered & competitive advantage is maintained
- Report into the Property Management Services Principal and act as a primary point of contact for the appointed global and specialist vendors as well as the various global and local business functions including Property, Retail, Finance Operations, and Supply Chain
- Agile working: take part/lead cross-category and/or cross-company projects

**It would be nice if you have**:

- Effective influencing and persuasion skills with both external and internal stakeholders
- Demanding with themselves and others with a passion for delivering high quality outputs
- Experience working in procurement, of indirect categories such as design, civil works, and retail products
- High level of proficiency with Excel, Word and Power Point
- Proactive and pragmatic work ethic
- Creativity and out-of-the box thinking

**You must have**:

- University degree, Master degree preferred
- Leadership skills to lead cross functional teams
- Experience in procurement
- Excellent analytical and contract negotiation skills, with a very good eye for detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Can deal with an international, functional matrix environment with a certain degree of ambiguity
- Business acumen: knows the competition, the Market place, knowledgeable in practices and trends
- Good interpersonal skills and multinational experience
- Fluency in English
