Amazon's Construction procurement category team is hiring a Senior Category Manager, Construction Professional Services (PS). This role will partner closely with construction stakeholders to define long term procurement strategies to support the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-million, multi-year Ops construction projects. The Professional Services category lead covers the design, engineering and supervision requirements delivered alongside the Construction scope.
Key job responsibilities
Manage the construction PS category owning the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-million-dollar sites.
Identify, develop and deliver long term sourcing strategies, lead key initiatives with cross-functional teams; drive the decision-making process of the category roadmap with senior leadership.
Build alignment with internal and external stakeholders to effectively plan and deliver site launches to meet site construction programs.
Own the targets and goals identified across the EU Professional Services category scope as well as identifying and delivering incremental process and system improvements
Drive professional services sourcing, award, contracting and ongoing support until project delivery, while maintaining commercial relationships with suppliers, with a principal objective of achieving optimal cost and performance;
Lead supplier performance management; including improving sustainability & social responsibility;
