Description
We are looking for a
**Contract & Claim Manager (M/F/d)**:
In this position, you will be asked to set up and negotiate suppliers’ contracts for the company, as well as lead claim discussions with suppliers, contributing to the success of our projects. You will integrate the Supply Chain team and report directly to the Head of Supply Chain department.
Your main tasks:
- Establish project purchase order templates
- Structure and draft contractual frame agreements
- Coordinate the discussions and handle NDAs toward suppliers
- Establish the basis for claim management towards suppliers, implement and follow-up as per project basis
- Support the supply chain team in all legal topics
- Advise the procurement department on legal issues and in the context of supplier negotiations
- Contribute or lead contractual negotiations
- Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors
- Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements
- Communicate with suppliers and internal departments to manage claims effectively.
What do we expect?
- Master’s degree in law with a focus on business and/or contract law
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a purchasing department in the steel, oil & gas or a similar industry
- Understanding of contracts, general conditions, claims procedure
- Good communication, negotiation and analytical skills
- Be proactive and pragmatic, to support efficient decision making
- Keep yourself up to date while working independently
- Knowledge of MS-Office and SAP
- Fluency in English. German and/or French will be an advantage.
