**About the Role**:
**Ferrero Group Headquarters **is looking for a **Plant Packaging Deployment Specialist **to manage the end-to-end execution of packaging projects and daily tasks relevant to the development of local industrial briefs and activities.
Thanks to this exciting opportunity you will be the first touch point for all the Region activities across products, categories and brands, reporting to the Packaging Deploy Region Multi-Countries Manager.
**Main Responsibilities**:
In this role, you will **conduct packaging research & development** to support new product launches, promos, new packaging briefs or modification of existing, in line with the Group requirements and guidelines related to Innovation, Cost and Sustainability.
As a Plant Packaging Deployment Specialist you will **manage the entire development process** - Packaging design to industrial execution ensuring structural performance, Quality, cost improvements, food safety and complexity management. You will also, optimize existing projects to improve sustainability, efficiency, risk and cost.
Additionally, you will **drive development **through effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders during the development phase of new packaging and improvement in existing packaging optimization.
You will also **explore and develop new packaging technologies** to support innovative packaging design through partnerships with suppliers, copackers and our Central Design Team. Moreover, you will support the Engineering Department for implementation of new packaging lines, attend and monitor packaging industrial trials, evaluate and share outcomes to drive design decisions during project development phase.
You will ensure technical documentation through the creation of technical drawings and specifications, data sheets in accordance with the guidelines of the Packaging Department. Lastly, you will deploy and share best practices across the Regions and collaborate through various company functions to problem solve and improve project flow.
**Who we are looking for**:
You will bring a **degree in Industrial Packaging or equivalent and 1 to 3 years of experience**.
Your knowledge of packaging design, packaging test methods, packaging machinery, production process (phases, cycles, production models), Palletization program (i.e. CAPE) and SAP will prove highly valuable. Similarly, you will contribute with your understanding of multi-packaging material (i.e. corrugated, paperboard, plastic, film, molding) and of design programs (i.e. Autocad, Illustrator, ArtiosCAD).
Additionally, your ability to work in a fast-paced environment, deal with people from all levels and different departments, work in both a team environment and independently and make educated decisions will help you reach your goals.
Your skills in project management and risk assessment, math, analysis and organization will also prove to be an asset.
Lastly, your** willingness to embrace potential international mobility opportunities **and your availability to** travel internationally and regularly to our Arlon plant **will be crucial.
