SOGETI is looking for a **Functional tester** to join our company.

**Your challenge**:

- Ensure well-documented test cases;
- Collaborate with the development team and business analysts to understand the functional requirements;
- Develop comprehensive test plans based on the project specifications;
- Create detailed test cases that cover all aspects of the software's functionality;
- Execute test cases to verify that the software functions according to specifications;
- Identify and document any deviations from expected behavior;
- Report and prioritize defects in a clear and concise manner;
- Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues;
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user stories and acceptance criteria;
- Participate in sprint planning and review meetings;
- Identify opportunities for test automation and collaborate with the automation team to implement automated tests;
- Provide feedback on the software development process to improve overall product quality;
- Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into testing processes;
- Perform treatment and validation of data and metadata, develop and implement validation checks to improve the quality and comparability of data;
- Be responsible of the dissemination of statistical information (draft, edit statistical texts, handles requests for information on statistical issues, give presentation in meetings);
- Draft report about work progress.

**Your profile**:

- Professional experience in the domain of statistics **.** The field of social statistics (i.e. Health, Education, income and living condition, labour force), but also Energy and agriculture is an asset;
- Experience in working with official data;
- Experience with Jira and Confluence;
- ISTQB Certification is a real asset;
- Good knowledge of Excel and database management;
- Good knowledge of SAS;
- Capacity to work in autonomy;
- Communicative, rigorous and organised;
- Fluent in English, French would be an asset.

**Education**:
3+ years university degree in Economics, Statistics or equivalent; and at least 6 years of professional experience; or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
