For our securities services activities, we are currently looking to recruit a:
**Depositary Supervisor**
**Permanent contract**
**Role and responsibilities**:
The Depositary Supervisor works closely with the Assistant Manager ensuring that all day to day operational activities relating to Fund Oversight are carried out effectively and efficiently.
The job-holder will ensure that depositary compliance is assured, all legal and regulatory fiduciary responsibilities are achieved and depositary duties duly discharged for traditional and alternative (including private assets) Funds.
The job holder will play a key role in supporting the depositary oversight activities and the on-boarding of new products and clients.
Moreover, the job holder will work closely with the Global Trustee and Depositary Services teams to ensure that administrative activities are controlled in accordance with the existing agreement and procedures and provide a high quality service.
**Principal accountabilities**:
- Work in control focus environment, ensuring that the Depositary fulfils all oversight duties and meets the evolving regulatory environment and Clients’ needs, in accordance with any CSSF requirements and Industry best practices;
- Review of tasks performed by depositary administrators and city offices based on established oversight controls (including holding and cash reconciliations, income distribution, monitoring of investment restrictions and safekeeping/ownership verification checks);
- Monitoring adherence to the funds industry regulatory framework, constitutional and contractual documents and perform second level of controls of automated and manual investment restriction compliance monitoring;
- Participate and support the onboarding and oversight of UCITS/AIFs clients (including private assets funds);
- Interact with Clients’ representatives, Administrators, Transfer Agents, Management Companies and Bank’s management to resolve queries and escalate any operational issues in an accurate and efficient manner;
- Contribute to the optimisation of the delivery process, including the adoption of OpOp tools, to establish maximum efficiency identifying and implementing improvements to processes and procedures whenever required.
**Experience and skills required**:
- Business degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Funds Industry with Depositary Services.
- Understanding of AIFMD & UCITS and funds industry regulations.
- Knowledge of private asset fund structures and look through requirements.
- Experience in monitoring adherence to the funds industry regulatory framework, constitutional and contractual documents, performing review and analysis of investment compliance breaches an advantage.
- Able to plan and organise workload in order to meet deadlines, taking into account relative priorities;
- Deadline driven and attention to detail.
- Able to operate in a dynamic and international environment, results focused, and ability to work autonomously.
- Team player and people motivator.
- Open minded and good communication skills with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Excellent PC skills (Excel, word).
- Fluent English essential. Knowledge of French/German would be an advantage.
