Our client is an established and growing Asset Manager; their roots goes back to a French bank but with the trust of the headquarters, the Luxembourg entity has managed to gain independence and cultivate an international environment that is fitting to the Luxembourg local industry.
With a number of contacts with different entities that provides services (Custody, Fund Administration and Transfer Agent Services) to our client, you are at the core of the oversight and governance of the operations and reporting to the local ManCo. You will also be the point of contact for other of the client's internal entity for their queries, requests and escalations.
This role is quite pivotal and requires a good knowledge of the fund industry and its operations to be able to analyse the outsourced services good standing compare to the group's standards.
As an Senior Operations Oversight Officer, responsibilities include:
Be the main point of contact in case of escalation for significant incidents and/or for service quality issues from internal and external clients;
Support the Head of Department in the organisation and performance of recurrent activities of the team and in the participation to service review meetings, regular product calls, change management meetings;
Conduct and/or participate to Initial and Recurring Due Diligences on Service Providers together with on-site visit where required;
Prepare and review of Operating Memoranda and SLA;
Ensure the level of services received are in adherence to the agreed service standards, also through the maintenance of issue logs, KPI and Traffic Light reports;
Participate to Service Review Meetings with the service providers;
Participate to relevant projects requesting the presence of the Operations Oversight function.
**Profile**:
Bachelor or Master Degree in a relevant field (Law, Economics, Finance, Business Admin and Management ) or equivalent professional experience;
5+ years of experience in Investment Funds, mainly Fund Accounting, Fund Operations, Fund Custody
Strong knowledge on the different alternative asset classes such as PERE, Structured Products, Tangible Assets, Private Debt,
Local regulatory environment knowledge relevant to Depositary activity (UCITS, AIFMD, CSSF 18/697);
English is mandatory, any other language (especially French) is appreciated;
Technical savvy (Computer and Microsoft Office skills );
Communication skills to provide and prevent information to peers and external stakeholders (regulators, clients ) in a professional and efficient manner;
Flexible, proactive with dynamism and organisation skills.
