**Function**:
**Technical**
- Assists and advise clients on corporate and/or financial transactions.
- Works on a wide range of domestic and international transactions including acquisitions, reorganisations, cross-border mergers, equity restructurings and financing/refinancing transactions
- Manages research and due diligence and supervises the production of less complex documentation
- Demonstrates familiarity with relevant market standards and precedents
- Drafts with reference to the legal and commercial arguments, writing succinctly, objectively and logically.
**Client Relationship Management**
- Establishes positive relationships with the client, building rapport and establishing credibility with client
- Keeps abreast of developments in the business world, learn how clients’ businesses work and actively share insights gained from client interactions
- Demonstrates thorough market knowledge to identify current trends and concerns in relevant industry sectors
- Provides commercial and legal advice to the client
- Relaying client feedback to the responsible Partner or Managing Associate.
**Knowledge & Learning**
- Uses internal and external resources effectively to develop expertise and skills
- Regularly gives and seeks clear performance feedback to/from others
- Contributes to development of necessary precedents and know-how, and shares knowledge and learning with others
- Mentors less experienced associates and trainees.
**Profile**:
**Qualifications**
- European qualified lawyer with outstanding academic qualifications
- Demonstrate 3 to 4 years of experience.
- Fluent in French and English; German would be an asset.

- Makes yourself available, acting as a sounding board for colleagues, calling out inappropriate behaviour and facilitating flow of communication between team and other parts of the firm
- Inspires confidence and respect of others through all interactions

- Energy and commitment, with a flexible and proactive approach
- Appreciative of the culturally diverse environment in which the firm operates.

Their specialists provide expertise on the full range of M&A work, including cross-border, multi-jurisdictional and domestic deals, auctions, joint ventures and disposals, on behalf of corporates, investment banks or private equity houses. They also handle corporate reorganisations, mergers and demergers, corporate governance issues, hostile bid and defense planning and the full range of public securities issues.
