Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Actions Employee to join our team at Sofitex Talent Recruitment. As a Corporate Actions Employee, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper execution of corporate actions tasks, initiating and following up on investigations, and maintaining the highest level of client service.
Responsibilities:
- Execute corporate actions tasks in accordance with policies and procedures
- Initiate and follow up on investigations with sub-custodians
- Input, verify, and confirm corporate actions, coupons, redemptions, and dividend notifications
- Monitor and update corporate action events, coupons, and dividend payments
- Maintain high levels of client service and ensure compliance with accounting policies and legislation
- Accomplish tasks in a timely and qualitative manner
- Participate in the issuance, reconciliation, and follow-up of withholding tax refunds and tax reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Banking, or Economics, or equivalent experience
- Experience in the custody/securities business is an asset
- Good knowledge of banking and financial operations
- Excellent overall banking knowledge
- Fluent in English; French is an advantage but not mandatory
- Microsoft Office skills, with good knowledge of VBA/Macros considered an asset
- Thaler and Swift skills
