AML-KYC Officer

Avoidance of Money Laundering and Know Your Customer (KYC) are crucial aspects of the financial industry. As a KYC-AML Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with Luxembourg's AML regulations within the funds industry.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform initial and ongoing due diligence on clients and counterparties to assess risk scores and classify them accordingly.
  • Review and verify identification documents, source of funds, and beneficial ownership structures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to obtain missing information and stay updated with the latest regulatory framework.
Client Onboarding Process:
  • Collect required documents from new clients and facilitate the onboarding process by preparing packs for acceptance committees.
  • Provide timely updates to key stakeholders to ensure all necessary data is collected efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the fund industry with a strong understanding of PE-RE Funds.
  • Ability to interpret regulatory guidelines and assess risk scores.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English are mandatory; French and German are considered an asset.
