About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio/ Asset Manager to join our team at Moventum S.C.A. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a challenging role in asset management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement investment strategies to manage discretionary fund portfolios and funds of funds.
  • Participate in the Investment Committee to drive investment decisions.
  • Analyze market trends and develop investment ideas with a focus on risk assessment.
  • Review and analyze transaction proposals to ensure alignment with investment goals.
  • Monitor and execute investment orders, including pre- and post-trade monitoring.
  • Manage fund inflows and outflows, and develop disposition strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to acquire new clients and maintain existing relationships.
  • Prepare client reports, market commentaries, and financial reports.
  • Coordinate with fund service providers, including investment advisors, fund managers, custodian banks, and central administration agents.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in portfolio or fund of funds management.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, to support data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
  • Ability to create compelling presentations and communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional command of English and German languages, both spoken and written, to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders and clients.
  • Team player with a results-oriented mindset, critical thinking, and efficiency.
  • Proficient in using industry-standard fund analysis tools, such as Morningstar, to evaluate and monitor investment performance.
  • Possession of, or progress towards, CFA or CIIA certification is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently with high accuracy and organization, ensuring thoroughness and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Willingness to adapt to evolving environments and continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.
