Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Officer to join our team at One Group Solutions Sarl. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting risk monitoring activities and providing reliable risk management support to our clients, management, and Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the company's risk profile and maintain and update risk policies.
  • Monitor funds, including pre- and post-controls on investment restrictions and policies.
  • Set up regulatory, prospectus, and internal rules in the control system.
  • Update and monitor the regulatory framework, including ESMA, CESR, EMIR, and other relevant regulations.
  • Manage risk for UCITS and AIFs according to regulations, including risk profile exercises for liquid and illiquid funds.
  • Participate in the valuation process, focusing on illiquid assets such as private equity, real estate, private debt, and infrastructure.
  • Contribute to regulatory reporting, including AIFMD/Annex IV, UCITS risk reporting, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Conduct analysis on relevant subjects, such as VaR model reviews, risk metric changes, and risk profile updates for funds.
  • Produce indicators, risk analyses, and executive summaries for stakeholders, including the Executive Committee, fund managers, and Boards of Directors.
  • Maintain contact with fund managers, clients, and auditors, both internal and external.
  • Participate in projects involving control tools used by the team.

Requirements

  • Graduate in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a similar field.
  • Fluent in English, with French as an asset and other languages considered an advantage.
  • Strong interest in the funds industry, particularly risk management.
  • Sound knowledge of investment fund regulatory frameworks, with 2-5 years of experience in risk management and fund compliance.
  • Experience with alternative illiquid funds is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all teams and levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational and computer skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
